It’s been a while since I went wine shopping, but my girlfriends are flying to New York and I figured I should make sure we were stocked and ready for the weekend! I wanted to get a mix of reds, whites, and rosé and tonight seemed like a good red wine night. I chose to start with the Italian red blend and it reminds me a lot of Apothic Red. In reviewing the wine though, I was surprised that the nose was a bit more vegetal; however, I did not get that on the palette. I would recommend this wine for an easy going girls night.
